St. Louis Silver Co Quadruple Plate & Oak Tray 11 IN Art Nouveau Patent 1905

Offered is a wonderful Antique Art Nouveau St. Louis Silver Co Quadruple Plate & Oak Serving Tray. Wonderful  pre-owned condition. Made of Oak and quadruple silver plating. Patina as found. Decorated with water lilies with wonderful detail. Center insert comes out and is marked in center: ST Louis Silver Co. Pat August 1905, Quadruple Plate.
Oak is clean and in as found condition. I have not tried to clean. Inside where the insert sits appears to be and old repair to the seam or it may have been in the making when it was assembled. No cracks or wear visible to outside. Nice grain to oak wood  and nice as found patina to the quadruple plate .
I believe this to be a cheese tray but have not seen this piece in this line before.  Mostly seen are tankards and mugs. Diameter is 10 3/4 inch and height is 2 3/4 inch. Unwrapped weight is 1 lb 12 oz.  Bottom of tray has an etched 43 and bottom of insert  has and etched 42. From a smoke free estate.
