The first in a series of oleographs on thick cardboard, outlining the history of optometry through the ages, signed W. F. Soare lower right. Soare (1896-1940) was active in the 1920s and 1930s and did cover art for pulp magazines, advertising and other artwork. Both are Held in a custom gilt wooden frames
